Two Sundays ago I chanced upon some potted hyacinth bulbs for sale and decided to buy one, figuring it would be a good opportunity for The Bun to learn about patience and plants and flowers. How fun! I have been thinking of growing some beans with Sean too, haha! I remember being extremely fascinated by the growth process when I was young too (though I was at least in Primary school then).

I was also going to do the beansprout thing too, but spotted the hyacinths before I actually got anything worked out.

I'm sure you guys will put your little garden to good use after you move!

Hi, I bought the hyacinth from Ikea just before Chinese New Year, although I know they were also sold at various florists like Prince, Far East Flora, etc. I don't think there are any more being sold, though, since the festive season is over, but you can try your luck!
