We watched The Sound of Music on DVD last night; it was my 394785th time watching it and J's first time. When we were young, my sister and I used to act out all the scenes with the children in them and sing all the parts. Steven made me watch the whole thing two Christmas's ago. Prior to that, I had only seen bits and pieces. I enjoyed it, but it was awfully long. :)

It really IS long! The talking parts can really get kind of slow, but the whole movie is really a classic.

That's one of my favourite shows ever. I know practically every word of every single song. I like the lonely goatherd - the yodelling is fun!

I love the goatherd song too! Especially the little baby goat that comes out towards the end.

My sister and I used to act out the 'Cuckoo Goodnight' song ALL the time when we were little. I think I shocked J by knowing all the lyrics to most of the songs. Heh.
