I know a lot of people didn't like Cassie and Dean together, but I quite like them and could feel how much it hurt Dean to have to leave her for the job.

The actor playing Max was incredible, wasn't he? Broke my heart. Sam's headaches and abilities will continue in through next season and perhaps longer, I can't remember when exactly we get the answer as to why he has the powers, but eventually all will be revealed.

Oh, The Benders, how could I have forgotten about the Benders?! It was so great because you expect something supernatural to happen, but no, it's just some crazy old humans.

Meg will be back in later seasons, but played by a different actress, which is a shame as I love that actress a lot. John will also be back this season, so hold on, your a Jeffrey Dean Morgan fix isn't over yet!

Oh, I thought Dean and Cassie made a wonderful couple, too, and yes, you could see he didn't want to leave her.

Do you know who the actor is who played Max? I'd like to see what other shows/movies he's been in.

I loved The Benders and Route 666. It's true that you expected something supernatural to happen in The Benders.

I suppose they have to use a different actress for Meg because the original one wasn't available. I know JDM will be back because even though I wasn't watching the show before, I did follow what was happening -- more or less.

The guy playing Max is named Brendan Fletcher and he has been in a ton of things, though nothing I've ever seen I don't' think. But here is his IMDB page and as you can see, he works a lot!

Thank you! I wanted his name so I could look him up on IMDb.com, but you saved me the trouble. Yes, he's certainly worked a lot. I remember him now from Bates Motel and Gracepoint although he looked very different in those than he does in Supernatural.

Oh yes, I'm enjoying it very much. I just wish I didn't have so many more seasons to watch before I get caught up. But the journey is wonderful.

Thenk you for the welcome. Sometimes I think this family is better than the one I was born into. LOL

My favorite thing about Route 666 is the end scene, when they're in the Impala. The way Dean looks at Sam, he's showing that he thinks it's "worth it" to be on the road with his brother.

And oh yes, Sam's smirk! Very cute. I've made an icon for you. :)

There was scene--don't recall which episode--where Dean almost got teary trying to figure out a way to tell Sam he wanted them to stay together. I think it was when Sam said when all the hunting was over, he wanted to go back to college and didn't want to keep doing what they're doing. It was very poignant ( ... )

The scene where Dean gets a little teary is from Shadow. It's one of my favorites... I forgot to mention it. Very heartfelt and beautifully done.

You're very welcome. And I'm glad you found so many icons that you like in my post. Enjoy!

Right, we don't know that it's a vision at first... very scary!

The actress who played Missy will be back in ep 7.13... The Slice Girls.

I've watched the earlier seasons many times, so I do remember a lot of it. I used to watch 2 or 3 eps of SPN every night. I like hearing your perspective, seeing the eps for the first time. You have so much to look forward too!

The icon you used in your comment is one of the ones I took. It's so sweet. Now I just have to remove some to make room for all these new Jared and Jensen icons.

"The Slice Girls" LOL I do love the names they come up with for some of the episodes.

Yes, I realize I have much to look forward to and I definitely am.

First of all, you are going to find a lot of similarities with old horror movies because the writers loooove to include a ton of shout outs. That's part of the fun of watching the show. You can see it from the titles as well, aye, and if you are really knowledgeable you will see shoutouts in the motel room numbers and things like that as well.

I'm one that really enjoyed Route 666 as well. I loved the visual effects of Dean and Cassie standing on either side of the doorway in the reconciliation scene,

I have noticed shout-outs to movies, but didn't recognize any of the motel room numbers. Probably because I've never been a big fan or horror films.

Oh yes, Dean definitely wants Sam with him. He looks so sad when Sam talks about doing anything else.

I loved The Benders for the reasons you do and also because it's real people and a real situation. The fact that something like that could actually happen made it all the more scary. There are some truly crazy deranged people in the real world.

Shadow is a favorite for that scene you mentioned. Jensen and Kim Manners talk about how hard that scene was for Jensen, who was very protective of Dean and didn't want to show such vulnerability. It ended up being such a wonderful scene.

Yes, I saw that in the Special Features on the DVDs. I'm sure there were a lot of scenes that were hard for the boys to film because they're so close in real life.

Brendan Fletcher was fantastic is Nightmare. I looked him up at IMDb.com and he's been in a ton of things. A really good actor.

I loved The Benders for the same reasons you did. Since it's something that could actually happen, that made it even scarier.
