This is why I changed my major from Political Science to Creative Writing.

I couldn't deal with regurgutating information that I wasn't sure I believed in. Now I get to create my own reality.

oh no, not theory. theory is not regurgitating. thats why i love it. i could sit there all day doing it, debating it, hating it, applying it to my life. trying not to apply it to my life. the fact based stuff is fine, but i dunno. i still love politics here. not politics in the grand scheme, but the study of it at the university.
i dont think i could do creative writing. i have no ideas. i have plenty of expirences, but it would just be "christina's diary lightly veiled". no one really cares about my fallacies.

Well, I know it's not ALL regurgitating.. I definitely wasn't trying to down your study.

It was too depressing I guess. Meh. Not that my writing is light and airy, but it helps me release a lot of emotion. Writers are, ultimately, selfish.
