It wasn't such a good weekend. Friday night I was filled with that terrible melancholy of the soul where you want to just cry and cry and cry until nothing else comes out, because inside you are just so weary and nothing aches as much as that terrifying, awful feeling of being so so alone

Ha. "Indie" is a very inclusive umbrella genre, with a LOT of different sub-catagories beneath it. Are you an indie rock fan? Indie pop? Electroclash, dance punk, folk, freak folk, naturalismo, experimental noise rock fan? Haha it all depends on what you're into - saying you like "indie" in and of itself just is too broad to recommend anything!

Sorry. Bit of a personal rant there haha.

Hahaha it's okay. I get so music defensive, I'm too much of a hipster.

Well, lately I've been listening to a lot of indie pop, if you're in for some bands like Stars or The American Analog Set. Good stuff. =]
