Especially how a potential soulmate was on his mind, but it didn't consume him, like it often does in soulmate stories. He still had a life and (a lack of) ambitions, and just enough stuff to worry about.
Alsooo... the words they wore were unique! Not a simple Hi or Bye, but 'Nice save' and 'I'm not weak-minded'. No room for confusion or drama. It sounds like critique calling this a simple story, so I'll go with very well-focused ♥
