I really quite enjoyed that red 5c :p It's sooo much nicer than the orangey "5b" that defeated me last week that was there

Lost track of what I climbed.. First of the day, I seconded a green 5c+ up the steep section round from the nice white bridge. I did enjoy that one quite a bit. I didn't notice how steep it is until about 3/4 of the way up when the handholds seem to thin out and I started to sweat just a little.

I don't ache as much today as I have other Thursdays, so I am going to need to climb more I think.

I suppose I could really put all this in my journal instead of cluttering up yours, but then people who have both of us on their friends list will probably get sick to death of climbing every Thursday

Probably best that you let them all just be bored of me ;)

I'd like to see you climb the 5C+ next week to see how the climb is. Not that I even think I could climb a 5C+. But just so I know for the future...

There are harder 5c's out there, but I don't see me leading it just yet (I need to stop being so weak..) so you may get to see 2 go up it ;)

I've noticed that I rarely use my oven. I cooked a pie in it the other day, and the hob is useful for heating things that shouldn't be microwaved (like hot dog sausages, tinned new potatoes etc) but otherwise I don't really use it. I have a microwave, a George Foreman contact grill, a toaster and an electric steamer. Between all those products, we rarely need to switch the cooker on at all!

I won't use a microwave, so we don't have one, but we also have a griddle pan and electric steamer, so we tend to use the cooker for roasts and casseroles. We still tend to use the oven a lot, but because I can't eat most foods, we are forced to cook completely unprocessed foods all the time, and only eating the same foods can get boring, so we try and vary the way we cook things using all the appliances in turn to make it more interesting :)

At times like this though when I have no energy or drive to cook, I really wish I didn't have all these allergies to contend with :(

I love my stackable bamboo steamers - it means that you can expand the amount of space you use for steaming at a minimal price :)

I think that I have 5 of them so far ...

I used them to steam the lemon chicken on tuesday ;)

Steamers are great. I've not used a bamboo steamer though, we have an electric one that sits on the side. It gets used almost every day.
