Art Vs. Commerce
Just listening to DJ Danger Mouse's remix of Jay Z's "99 Problems" - has to be one of the best samples of the Beatles "Helter Skelter" ever done. In fact, the whole Grey Album (that samples the Beatles' White Album as a backdrop to the acapellas from Jay Z's Black Album) really is a bit of a masterpiece. Relaxing day...
Had a great chilled out day today, really nice since I just finished a 5 week run at work of 14-16 hour days and no time off!! Did a bunch of exploring around LJ and am really looking forward to doing more.
