Poor Nechama. That is scary. Glad you had someone with you to help out.

I know I'm not a great patient and I'm trying REALLY HARD, to not impress that upon her.I'm petrfied of needles, and having to restrain her for that, depletes all my energy for days before and after.

WE chattered this morning that we were going to the 'doctor' and he was going to look at her belly and her heart.(I figured if we said belly, she'd at least sorta knew where he was going).

She was repeating back to me doctor and heart. She was in good spirits walking in, she even schleeped in a trick or treat iron man bucket, that is 'her's' that gets schlepped every so often from the house->car->babysitter.

I try to 'hide' it in the car. But today it wasn't worth a fight.

My husband doesn't understand how I'm so drained after the appointment. Do you know he wouldn't be able to be there, he can't have her upset. I don't think he'd even know how to 'push through' that. He'd probably attempt to tell the doctor not to examine her.

Bayla had her neurological exam while EDS was jumping on and off the exam table. I don't think I heard a thing and he is the easy one. Shira is so loud she dominates every conversation. Two is hard in terms of physical restraint, teaching to walk off stroller, etc. Three is just mentally hard because you have to talk so darn much.
