1) Unless you plan to work fast food, or look like you're 16, I don't think anyone actually pays attention to the 500 hours thing, so you can probably expect $8. If you can stand working in a call center, they often pay $9 and up to start.

2) There's always under-the-counter jobs, too?

3) Is probably a good idea regardless. >.>

1)I'll look into that, thanks! Though of course I didn't see this until I took certain giving-up-and-pushing-for-other-things actions...but I'm crazy; I'll probably look into this a little anyway...as to whether i could endure such work, i have no idea...
