I hated Border's online application. Needless to say, I lied. A lot. Also, they never called me back nor did they call my friend back who also filled it out online. SO, if you are serious about that job, I would go in there and inquire if they got your online application etc etc.

Perhaps the application itself is a test. If you get through the 'tortuously long' part of it, then maybe you show the determination they look for in a bookseller?
