Nice, I'd love to visit Quebec now :0) any advice on time of year/local events?

This year must be full of events - Quebec City celebrates its 400th anniversary. I don't know about much about other cities, but in Quebec the most interesting times are July (Summer Festival), August (Days of the New France) and the Carnival (February). If you do not know French, I recommend you to learn some, in order to get the most of the visit. I'll try to post some more materials about Quebec.
