AWA was this past weekend and something just seemed off this year. I don't think it was the cons fault, just a personal thing. For starters it was only 10 days after Dragon*Con (which I had such an amazing time at) and I had to make a masters level costume contest costume during that time. And you're right! I never noticed that was the same as Azusa. :P It's an odd combination to be sure.

I wish I could've gone to AWA this year but I actually heard mostly bad things about it...like I haven't heard anyone yet that's said they really enjoyed themselves. Just that it seemed really odd. :O Hopefully I'll see you at more cons this year though! I really loved hanging out with you guys! (and making your Felicia ribbons zig zag...haha)

Yea, I hate to say it since AWA has always been my favorite convention, but you really didn't miss much this year. Still, I was sad to see you couldn't make it at the last minute. :( I know how demanding band can be though. I was the trumpet section leader back at my high school.

I loved getting to hang out with you at Dragon*Con too! I hope to see you again soon~

Haha really? I've actually met a lot of cosplayers who did band in high school. Were you cosplaying back then?

No, I didn't discover cosplay until after I graduated. There weren't any cons around where I was anyway. :P You have my respect for juggling section leader and making the amazing costumes you make though. :)
