I'm home from Dragon*Con and I have to say that I had an absolute blast! I feel silly saying this was the best D*C ever since this was only my second time going, but it'll be hard to top. The weekend was full of random conversations with strangers, dream photoshoots (and lots of them), and time spent with people I wish I could see more often ( Read more... )

YES WE DO, BETTY! It really was the best con. Every second was amazing, but it sadly just flew by.

We should have some really cool pictures soon!! :D

omggg that WIG, Megan! I can't wait to see more of these photos. XD I got a request for that wig once and I was like... woah. I don't even know how to make it that poofy.

That wig was crazy!! I actually bought it from an online drag store located in California. It started off with even more poof than that, but I had to tame it down a bit. :P

It was so good to see you too, Molly! I hope your feet are doing better now! You looked fantastic as Phoenix though! :)

haha, wow! I've checked out a few drag stores before, they're really good for cosplay. XD

My feet are doing better. @___@ Like I said to Mer, I overestimated my endurance there. My blisters are gone and I've been applying lotion to my feet, so things are getting better. I'll be limiting the time I spend in heels at cons from now on.

I'm still awed myself...and a little worried about what pictures I may find floating around there on the internet. :P Thank you though! Doing Darkstalkers was even more fun than I imagined.

I would love to do Adventure Time or at least some group with you in the future! We should plan something for next year. :D

Yes, we should have cosplay plans together! Silas, Molly, and I are talking about Megacon and I think I may take Marceline to that. We still need more Jem girls for Wizard World. I want to get a Peanuts group going for D*Con next year. And well, there's that other group that we should talk about with Yaya of course(most of the organizing will be on her part since she's been a fangirl of it longer than we have, and I think has some particular things in mind).

I actually emailed the security dept. at D*C about it. I told them I was really surprised that he wasn't escorted out of a main event where so many children were present. They haven't replied and I doubt they will, but I'm glad I got that out there. :/
