So, previously a hypothetical friend (call her R) had love problems. Her hypothetical friend A asked her out. She cared about him a lot, but didn't fancy him...hypothetically. She didn't ask anybody because she already knew what all her friends would say. She just angsted for weeks

the hypothetical friend R did the right thing. If friend R did not love friend A (which both friends are to young to understand the meaning of love, no offense)she should not go out with friend A because then later on, when the relationship would come to an end, and it would because both friends are looking for different things, then feelings would be hurt worse than they are now.

i hope friend A hypothetically gets over this, and stays friends with friend R because it hurts to loose a friend over something like this.

I think that my hypothetical friend would thank you a lot. Since I wrote that post, she's hypothetically talked to friend A and straightened it out. She's hoping he realises it's not going to happen.
