No two situations are the same, and I don't mean to imply that I totally understand what you're feeling and going through. I remember something similar with my own dad, and the way that the fear was so cold in the pit of my stomach and yet so unreal at the same time.

We may not gab on the phone all the time or even online, but I like to think that some friendships don't fall by the wayside just because our lives go on. I know you are always held warmly in my heart, and as a result, your mother and father as well. Don't hesitate to lean upon your wife, she'll help you through.
