it was only last week. ian talked about going to hong kong at the end of april. he invited everyone, we said yes, and now, 9 of us are going for a short vacation to hk. the thrill of an impromptu overseas trip. this is how youth is ought to be spent, haphazard traveling, no concern for money, no responsibilities, not mugging during the cold winter

I'm planning to go Europe next year with Shuyuan and co. But that will involve a whole lot of AOPs and stuff, (hopefully) not impromptu decisions.

no you gotta do it impromptu style. of course you must plan the dates to go to landmarks across europe, make sure the places are open for visitors and stuff, but for the rest of the trip, throw away and frommers and lonely planet i say. find a local at the nearby coffee joint to give you a guide.
