Summary: Ueda just transferred to a new high school. Someone takes an interest in him but he is in denial.
Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 2
Ueda stared at the couple, shocked. Ryo caught him staring and smirked. Ueda looked away, focusing on the fries.
"Ehhh~ This is a first!" Maru whispered. "You see that girl? She's like the girl version of Ryo. Beautiful, kind, smart. Every guy likes her."
Ueda stared at the said girl, who was smiling brightly, obviously happy and proud to be holding Ryo's hand in front of practically the whole school.

Ueda was sitting on the bench at the rooftop alone, skipping math class. He felt restless for some reason, and wanted a peace of mind.
Why do I feel so restless? Ueda wondered. It's not like anything happened to make me feel this way..
Instantly, Ueda saw the image of Ryo and his new girlfriend walking hand in hand.
Ueda shook his head. "Why am I thinking of that moron??"
He put his hand on his chest and realised that his heart was pounding fast. Ueda sighed, confused.
Someone suddenly hugged him from behind, nuzzling and kissing his neck. Ueda turned around in shock and saw Ryo standing behind him.
"What do you want?" Ueda asked harshly.
"You." Ryo answered simply. He sat next to Ueda on the bench.
Ueda didn't know how to respond and blushed involuntarily.
Ryo laughed and caressed Ueda's hair. "You're so cute when you blush."
"I wasn't blushing!" Ueda insisted, rolling his eyes.
Ryo let out a small laugh, staring at Ueda with a look that posed no threat whatsoever.
They both sat in silence with Ryo staring at Ueda, who was nervously staring at the sky.
"You should go," Ueda finally said, breaking the silence.
"What?" Ryo asked, confused as if he had been in a trance.
"Your girlfriend must be wondering where you are." Ueda answered, looking at him with desperate eyes.
Just leave me alone, he pleaded silently.
Ryo stared deep into his eyes, caressing his cheek. "You're so beautiful."
For a moment, Ueda got weak and rested his cheek against Ryo's warm hand, closing his eyes.
But his eyes flew open as the hand on his cheek withdrew. He watched as Ryo left him.

Ueda was studying with Maru in the classroom, just the 2 of them. Maru insisted on this, because Ueda had missed the lesson earlier. Truthfully, Ueda couldn't care less about math. But he knew Maru was sincere in helping, so he agreed.
"So anyway you put this x over here.." Maru's voice went on, making Ueda sleepy.
He suddenly saw a movement near the door and looked over. He saw someone trying to hide, but failing as Ueda could see his shoes. Familiar shoes.
Ryo.. Ueda thought, his heart beating faster.
"Ano ne, Maru." Ueda said loudly, hoping Ryo would hear.
He turned to face Maru, making it seem like he didn't know Ryo was looking.
"Yeah?" Maru replied, interrupted from his explanation of the algebra problem sum.
"I.. I like you!" Ueda shouted.
He hesitated before giving Maru an awkward bear hug.
Unconsciously, he imagined that he would have fit perfectly in Ryo's arms.
He shook the thought away and broke the hug, putting on a big smile on his face. He heard some shuffling outside, indicating that Ryo had left.
"Eh?!" Maru stared at him. "You mean.. You're gay too???"
Ueda stared at Maru with his mouth wide open.
