I also feel very insecure with my "art" and skills but that's just normal I guess. ^^
The best thing to do is to practice very hard and listen to the criticism other people give you.
And if you feel like you lack in creativity, maybe you could try something new (new style, genre etc.) or just take a break for a few days. That's what I do at least. =D

Hey there, I hope you don't mind me reading your post D= I came to thank you for adding my page, but I saw the text post up top and one of my main reasons for getting LJ is to try and communicate more with the people who like my work

*Blink blink* BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ty, ty for stating that so damn clearly....lol! Sometimes its hard to see any answers at all when you're going through the funk. Also ty for commenting I really do have to stick around lj more often, it's nice to build a more personal relationship with others. Y, DA and such are great but hard sometimes to approach others so ^^

Anyhow ty ty again for taking the time to comment and tell me your feelings as well. That means a lot to me. I purposely left this journal out of my other galleries for the fear that pple may think I'm fishing for compliments. This entry was just to state my fears and thoughts. Well ty ever so much hon and looking forward to the possibility of a growing friendship ^^

Awww haha im so relieved you weren't annoyed by me commenting on your personal stuff XD You know what else I thought was great is that at the same time as sounding like you were going through a funk you said you weren't going to give up and that you would keep trying. That is so inspiringggg because when I'M going through a funk I often find myself thinking things like I should just give it up. Usually when I'm on my period hahahahaha YOU HAVE AWESOME SPIRIT I'm confident that if you truly want it you will get exactly where you wanna be.

Thanks for the reply =D I'm really glad it meant something to you, and ecstatic to find someone else who agrees on the whole DA and Ygal being kind of distant. I personally would like to get to know my fans better and have them feel comfortable enough to offer advice and constructive criticism, as well as becoming friends =)

Well I look forward to being more involved and help you with your works when you need it ^^ I'm a shy gal at times but every now and again I get some boldness ^^

Oh and by no means was I offended, it's nice to know that some pple do read my journals even if they're a bit off LMAO! Oh and no, I wont quit, I did that a few years back and it's about the one thing in life I DO regrett, so onwards HO!!!! ^^
