Viva Ronaldo. Viva Ronaldo. Running down the wing, hear United sing.

Oh, Cristiano, you beautiful infuriating wonderful boy. I hope you always remember how you received a bloody standing ovation just by warming up and a very racous chorus of "Viva Ronaldo" when you entered the game. Please always remember how much the fans utterly love you and don't treat us that way again. I can't help but love him, I've watched ( Read more... )

Well no one's ever expected him to stay around Manchester United his whole life. He's no Giggs or Scholes or Gaz or even Ole. He's given us some fine years of service and I'm sure the fans thank him for everything he has given us.

I just want the transition to be relatively drama free. It's not if he leaves, it's when.

Not sure about the loss of respect. I think alot of things were taken out of context and lost in translation. He's never said he's going to be at United forever, he's always said he'd like to play in Spain, so I'm really not sure how anything that happened this summer would have surprised anyone.

It's more Calderon and Ferguson with the drama that I'd like to avoid. And of course the English and Spanish press.

that standing ovation surprised me a bit, to be honest.

i'm glad he's back, so that both teams are fully fit for sunday (minus essien, but we're okay).

...umm, and did you notice that frank's thighs came out to play again? two games in a row now :D

*knock on wood* no injuries, please!

LOL we are in no way fully fit at all.

LOL. Vida is suspended through getting 2 yellows last game. Berba didn't play Wednesday because of a knee injury. Cris is halfway back, Owen is halfway back. Now Carrick is out for a month with a broken ankle. I think.... maybe that's it? Besides Gaz being only halfway back too.

I can't help but love him, I've watched him grow from a gap toothed, messy headed, scrawny, diving, brat into the best footballer in the world (even though he can still act like a brat.)
Oh, it's the same for me. I can't say better. *smiles*
