Oh, Cristiano, you beautiful infuriating wonderful boy. I hope you always remember how you received a bloody standing ovation just by warming up and a very racous chorus of "Viva Ronaldo" when you entered the game. Please always remember how much the fans utterly love you and don't treat us that way again. I can't help but love him, I've watched him grow from a gap toothed, messy headed, scrawny, diving, brat into the best footballer in the world (even though he can still act like a brat.) I just smile everytime he touches the ball. It's beautiful.
That said.. *sigh* United. I'm still optimistic, if only because once Anderson and Ronaldo were introduced, we looked 10x better than we did in the first half. We just can't put the ball in the back of the net. I'm sure it will evetually come and we'll be winning games 4-0 again and leading on a goal difference of +20. But it's so tiring until that moment comes. Chelsea looks bloody fantastic this year and I'm worried they are going to get too far out in front of us for us to catch back up once we actually start playing like we should be.
I do like that we get to play with special balls (does not go there) because we are champions. And I can't wait to hear the "Viva John Terry" song next weekend. I love him to death but I can't wait to hear it. That said, him and Frank looked delicious yesterday wandering around shirtless after the game. Mmmmm.
