+ I went traveling with my new coworker today. We went to Gyeongbok Palace, the palace museum, Hongik University, where we went to the Coffee Prince #2 cafe, Kyobo Bookstore, and last but not least Book-Off! There is a new one in that was built near Shinchon station and I've always wanted to go and check it out. Today I found Shinchon station, so ( Read more... )

Rarghh, super jealous of your Book-Off! I had to walk an hour to get to mine, the once I went, and then hauling pounds and pounds of books back to my dorm is something I'm not up to repeat. ;~;

Have you read the original Loki series? I keep seeing all the books around in stores, but I've got a complete English set, and it's not something I'm so in love with that I need doubles. But shinyyyy~

Dude, I have to take the subway from Incheon all the way to downtown Seoul which is about an hour, if you don't count the fifteen minute walk to the subway station. Then I gotta carry my wares back through the subway, on the train, and all the way home. It's no walk in the park for me either. And on the weekends, which is the only time I can really go, Seoul is jam packed with Koreans and Weiguks. It's a pain in the butt. But we have two of them in Seoul, so I'm thankful for that at least. XD

I read scanlations of Loki, but I never actually read the legit copies.

07 Ghost for 4k won?! Pfft. *grins* I should ask you to pick up the ones I'm missing if you see them (used is fine, since if you think it's a good used copy it's practically new anyway). I'm missing volume 5, and then 7+.

Those were the only ones I saw there, but I'll be going back. I didn't spend a lot of time browsing since I was with a friend. Next tme I'm planning on going alone so I can spend as much time as I'd like.

Oy, question for you. I was browsing the classifieds at work today and someone had an ad for Ruby and Emerald for $5 apiece. Would you be interested in either?

You waited too long to get both; I'm going to pick up Ruby on Friday. *grins* Makes me wish I could borrow your GBA and play it first... I don't think anyone's due out to visit me for a while, though. (And after all the rechargeable-battery systems that are out now, it would be painful to buy replacement batteries)

If you got a DS you could play it on that, provided you get a Lite or before.

Ruby's fine. I usually buy the red versions of the pokemon games anyway.
