Oy, question for you. I was browsing the classifieds at work today and someone had an ad for Ruby and Emerald for $5 apiece. Would you be interested in either?

You waited too long to get both; I'm going to pick up Ruby on Friday. *grins* Makes me wish I could borrow your GBA and play it first... I don't think anyone's due out to visit me for a while, though. (And after all the rechargeable-battery systems that are out now, it would be painful to buy replacement batteries)

If you got a DS you could play it on that, provided you get a Lite or before.

Ruby's fine. I usually buy the red versions of the pokemon games anyway.

Ruby secured!

Actually, I asked some of the people I work with and one of them has every DS except the 3DS so she said she'd bring in one of the older ones that can play GBA games. I want to test out the cartridge and make sure it's okay, and also play a bit. (You could trade my starter into your game and get two...)

Haha. Considering I won't get to see you for a year, that doesn't sound bad to me.

I've heard Ruby/Sapphire are really good games. I never really got into them because I didn't like the pokemon, but five bucks for pokemon is a steal.
