Okay, a question for my fellow wisdom teeth surgery veterans: is your jaw supposed to start hurting six or seven days after the surgery takes place? Because that's what's going on with me, and it is damn frustrating to go back on the painkillers (even if it is only ibuprofen) now after I've been off them since Thursday. I didn't have any problems like that, but I have to say that I only had two wisdom teeth, and they were up on top. So, I didn't have any work done on the part of my mouth that has to move. But, I do have scars from my surgery, thanks to the way they had to cut me open for mine.

I never had pain seven days after the surgery...most of my pain/numbness came the day after. My lips felt like a freaking chimpanzee.

Although mine popped out pretty easily according to the dentist so I'm not sure regarding yours *shrugs*

Is it your jaw or the places where the teeth were? Could be a strained muscle if your mouth was open too wide for too long, or dry sockets. But wait it's Thursday so you probably already know. >.>
