BBL, surgery

Baaaaaack and somehow somewhat coherent. I have an ice pack on my cheeks and gauze in my mouth, and much as I will likely regret it later, I really want the drug-induced numbness to go away, if only so I don't have to worry about biting something that shouldn't be bitten. If it starts hurting...well, that's why I have House drugs.

Told you it wasn't too much to worry about! Glad you survived.

Though you should really keep the numbness up. Not only is the pain not particularly pleasant, but oh my god the taste of pus.

Well, I for one am going to pretend I never read that. Ew.

I went through this at the beginning of June. It'll be bleed-y for a while, sore and generally uncomfortable. But just be patient and eventually it gets better... and then it's like those teeth were never in there in the first place. Are you taking Vicodin then? They gave me that too. I took it for three days... and then got a horrible headache and barfed, so I switched to prescription-strength amounts of Ibuprofen instead.

Yikes. Hope the Vicodin treats you better, K. I'm a fogey and had mine taken out before Vicodin so popular. I think it's common knowledge that if I ever write a sappy romance novel, the heroine's name will be Codeine.
