I'm halfway through Twilight, and I'm seriously waiting for this to happen. I'll probably laugh when it does. I might cry soon after, though, just from the sheer DEAR GOD WHY of the whole thing.

But Twilight's a rant for a bit later.

...Your thoughts on Twilight are amazing! You sum up everything that I was thinking when I was reading it. One of my friends who came to visit over spring break was OMG obsessed with the books...and kind of burnt me out on them. I've only read Twilight, and I've borrowed the second... but hey, hopefully things change?

XD The honestly aren't. The writing is passable, and Carlisle's an epic badass. They're fun to read once, at least.

At one of the cons I went to this year, I received a copy of the first two chapters of Twilight. I wrote in it.

Now I gotta see if I can find it again...

I just finished reading Twilight a few days ago. Nearly the whole time I felt like I was just waiting for something to happen. Overall I guess it was good, but not good enough to really make me want to read the rest of the series.
