Broken LJ

Looks like LJ have broken something ( they did, actually) in comment email notifications. I get something like the following for the heading now:

Club TechnoBOFH (yakko) replied to a [[sitenameshort]] comment in which you said:

Twitter and the Internal Server Error of DoomTwitter seems to be randomly broken. Let sleeping, injured dogs ( Read more... )

You're right, it is compartmentalization.

The Census Bureau and the IRS actually aren't allowed to just hand information over like that, they both have rules in place regarding sharing information with other parts of the government, and both sets of rules in their own ways say not without a very good reason.

I know this because my mother works for the Census Bureau, and that's a common complaint she has to deal with from people who try to refuse to do the surveys.

Now... if the rest of the govt (oh, say, the Executive Branch) would follow rules and laws even when it's not convenient to do so, things would be better!
