Full-wave bridge

I finally got the Linksys I bought to actually work as a bridge! I'm sending these packets through it right now.

I put X-WRT on it (a WRTSL54GS with 32MB RAM and 8MB flash) and it works fine. Had the firmware been any more involved than simply reflashing the device, I wouldn't have even bothered with it ( Read more... )

If geeks like us ran the show when it came to marketing, or if geeks like us were listened to, you wouldn't have to write rants like this to begin with.

And that, too, makes me sad.
