Walter Bishop

How I FEEEL: I adore Walter. Probably I should feel warier of him, given some of the crap he's pulled, but I feel like he's paid a horrible price and become someone both warmer of heart and weaker of wit, which makes the condemnation feel cruel.
Who I ship with them: Nobody really. I used to kind of ship Walter/Astrid, but no more. If we learned he'd had a thing with Nina once upon a time, I wouldn't be surprised.
My non-romantic OTP: Walter/Astrid, because their love is platonic, pure and everlasting.
Unpopular opinion: I wish he talked about food a little less. Yeah, it's funny, but he could be funny about a lot of things. Not just food.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened in canon: I wanted the Secretary/Walternate to be much more evil. Not that I dislike canon, but I was sort of hoping to see John Noble get his Denethor on again.

How I FEEEL: This is another one I feel a lot of affection for even though I ought to be warier. But my crush on Naveen Andrews goes all the way back to "The English Patient" and so I am powerless against it.
Who I ship with them: Shannon, Nadia, maybe Jack
My non-romantic OTP: Sayid/Kate. I could've shipped them once upon a time, but I liked the warm admiration they gained for one another.
Unpopular opinion: I'm not sure I have one for him!
One thing I wish would happen/had happened in canon: I wish Shannon/Sayid had lasted a lot longer.

Unpopular opinion: HE AIN'T DEAD HE'S JUST RESTIN'.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened in canon: WowWrongBadHot, at least as more obvious subtext, and expanding on the understanding Jack and Nadia did have. It would have made an interesting counterpoint to the otherwise fraught relationships in that father/daughter quadrangle.

Irina Derevko!

I feel like I must be the only person on the internet who is entirely uninterested in the royal wedding.

How I FEEEL: I love her but she scares me.
Who I ship with them: Jack. Weirdly, kinda, sorta, Will. An early fic I read was imprinted upon strongly. And one time I started work on (but never finished) a fic that posited the idea that Gerard Cuvee wasn't always a SOB and she had her reasons for hooking up with him in the beginning. But mostly Jack.
My non-romantic OTP: the Derevko sisters. irina and Sydney. Irina and various weaponry.
Unpopular opinion: I can believe that Irina could have chosen Rambaldi over Jack and Sydney. That was supported by canon. What I couldn't believe was her going from where we saw her at the end of S4 directly to where we saw her in S5; that, canon didn't support. But the basic idea? Could have worked.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened in canon: That Irina had remained on the side of the angels in S5.

naahhh. im there with ya. unfortunately, my mom was interested, and chose to express that interest at 4:30am with "IT'S ON ARIEL!!!!!!ARE YOU WATCHING IT!?!?!" and checking back in on my sleeping form every so often, wondering if i'd seen certain parts. :sleepy:
