Hey! I'm a Vancouverite, and just wanted to tell you: no one has air conditioning, we just don't really need it. I found air conditioning weird when I went places like Florida and New York. I don't know a single person with air conditioning in their home. And yes, we have a lot of weed and even I, a non smoker, know it to be quality weed that doesn't smell awful. Possession isn't even a felony, just a misdemeanour here and most cops will just wave it off if they smell a joint and I know a few people who've just been told by cops to not be so visible about their joints. Hope you're enjoying the city!

All I can tell you is, this building needed AC yesterday during the day. Something about the way the sun exposure hits the glass window wall turned it almost kiln-like. Other than that, I'm enjoying the city so far!

Boris conversation! We talked a lot about how they make Burbank look like everyplace on earth, and when I told him about the "magic stairwell" on Alias, he laughed really hard.

The guys at my apt. building in Chicago smoke something that smells like a skunk had gotten to it. Blech.
