So Toboe has thrown something new at me this morning.

The lappy made a horrific noise this morning when I turned it on, sounded like it was coming from the fan [which for years now hasn't been quiet] instead of starting up normally though I got a black screen with a bunch of information [most appeared to be stats on the computer] part of which

You can buy a little fan pad to sit underneath Toboe. I have one because Sam gets really hot even with the fan. He lives on top of it, lol. Obviously it wouldn't cool internally, but you can find them for about $10-$30 and that's a heck of a lot cheaper than the other option!

Yeah I'll definitely look into that, I turned him on again to remove files that haven't already been backed up on my brother's computer when the keyboard broke. It was still making that terrible noise but after a little while [I had quite a bit to remove] it started running normally.

No idea what will happen when I start it again, but I likes your idea. As I'd really rather not fork over a lot of money at the moment ^_~
