Toboe
So Toboe has thrown something new at me this morning.
The lappy made a horrific noise this morning when I turned it on, sounded like it was coming from the fan [which for years now hasn't been quiet] instead of starting up normally though I got a black screen with a bunch of information [most appeared to be stats on the computer] part of which stated there an error occurred with the fan during my last use.
I haven't a clue what caused it, I don't remember anything unusual happening last night but I followed the direction of hitting F1 to continue startup. It loaded fine, but the fan clearly wasn't running. *fist shake* I already know Toboe gets quite warm so I'm not about to run the lappy without it.
So now I have to see if that can be fixed and how much it would cost. *sigh*
In the mean time I'm using Hige [aka my sister's old monstrous Compaq] I hate it! but I'm working at getting it at least more like Toboe so it won't bother me as much. [ie. my wallpaper, programs etc] its helping but I'm still frustrated by the whole situation.
