Wendy, one of my neighbors, died about 6 hours ago, she was 47. We/she only found out a few days ago that she was ill, Liver cancer, she was told she had a few weeks. She leaves behind a 19 year old son Alex and a 9 year old daughter Dana. It's just too sad. She was such a lovely woman

Oh Yaby, I'm so sorry! You're right, it is just sad and wrong. The poor kids. I hope you'll be able to be of some comfort to them. *hugs*

That's how it happened for my grandmother, too. She was aged 41, the age I am now, and she left behind my 17-year old dad. She had breast cancer. I'm sad never to have known her.
