Oh wow. This is like a modern-day "Faust" - and that's definitely a compliment, cause to me, Goethe's Faust is the most well-written piece of literature the German language has ever seen. It's utterly complex and uses more settings than an average season of 24, but the main story is the devil making a bet with God that he can lure God's favorite human being (Faust, a scholar) away from the righteous path. In a moment of desperation, Faust actually makes a pact with the devil - the devil will be his servant as long as they're on Earth and Faust will serve the devil in Hell

FINALLY got a chance to respond. Sorry it's taken me so long.

I LOVE FAUST! And yes, I agree with your review of it. I wish I could speak/read German so I could actually go through an untranslated version. I can't say that this wasn't inspired sub-consciencely, :)

I liked writing the game so don't be surprised if I take your idea about using it a lot. I'm not sure it'll fit with every chapter (especially once we get into the action stuff) but they will definitely finish this "game."

I really really hope I'm able to write more stuff for you guys. I have to write in small quick chunks now and sometimes it's just soooo slow. But, I'll get there, lol.

Interesting concept, especially the tasked to kill Jack part. Will be interesting to see where that goes. Hope to see more fic from you soon and not just this series,but others too especially the canon version of the characters, and even better if its happy stuff.

*I* would like to see more fic from me, lol. Like I told Jim up there, it's all small quick chunks now. But, it'll get done and I'll still write one shots and yes, some will be in the actual 24 universe. Odd for me, I know. :)
