so, it may or may not have come to your attention that MO lost its keyboardist, brian blackmore. because all of you now want to know why, i'll tell you the circumstances surrounding this departure.

sunday night, i got a phone call from bill regarding an email that brian sent us. i believe he said something like "uhhh you're not going to like this

I don't want to start shit, but if he was unhappy, that's a decision you have to respect, regardless of his continuation for the next few shows. Yeah, it affects you and Bill greatly, but this was Brian's decision, and he made it for him. I seriously didn't want to see this happen, but I don't think it needs to lead to the disruption of the friendship. It's honestly not worth it.

i respect his decision to quit. what i don't respect is the fact that he left us hanging with a tour and two important local shows coming up and doesn't seem to give a fuck about the consequences for us. if he's going to not make good on something he already committed to when it affects two of his friends' lives so greatly, then he's a shitty person, and i don't keep shitty people as friends.
