It is cancer. Vet said 1-3 months. The only other option is $500 worth of tests to see if it spread, then amputating ($1,000) then chemo (no clue how much but chemo is horribly painful) to give him maybe to 10 or 12. He's a big dog, already 8, and not the healthiest thing. So the pain and money to make him last maybe a few years. So my mom settled

I'm so sorry, love. I lost Sheba recently, so I understand what you're going through and it's rough. But at least you guys can help him out along the way, and he's had an awesome life with your family. So take solace in the fact that he is a DAMN happy dog.
