So while Florence is still wonderful, everyone seems to be getting a little homesick. Maybe it's because it's past the point that a vacation would end. I felt pretty bad yesterdy- it was a rough day of classes and I just wanted to talk to someone and not feel so lonely. So everyday has been amazing here so far! Florence is wonderful. I feel like there's always something new to see and do. Todaywas different though. My roommates and I decided to do a short day trip to Pisa, since it's only an hour away. We got to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which was so cool! So I decided to use this as my journal as I study abroad in Florence. I got here 2 days ago, and wow, is it crazy! I had to take an 8 hour flight to get here, and didn't get here until the next day. The apartment I'm in is pretty nice, more than I was expecting. Hopefully I will still like it after 4 months :)
