What about Nemo? Why does disney lie to us? The decive us. Why didn't marlin just become a woman???

Because, technically, if they kept it real it wouldn't have made it on screen as a movie for kids. Imagine Marlin going "Nemo, your mum is dead, so... I'm your mum now!"

Speaking of Nemo, did you know that the producers intended Dory to be a goldfish? This explains her terrible memory - goldfish purportedly have a memory span of 3 seconds. They only changed their minds and chose the regal tang because someone pointed out that it was ridiculous to find a goldfish in the middle of the ocean.
