they always complain about me spending their money and not getting a job yada yada yada. the reason i can't get a job is simple: i go to boarding school. they allow us to do voluntary work but something that pays? nuh uh. i am actually pretty decent about money, i don't go out and spend shit loads on clothes, i stick to my pathetic £10 per week ( Read more... )

You don't sound remotely bitchy tbh.
Every girl needs a bit of retail therapy once in a whils. xP

Oh and because you keep mentioning you're weight gaining thingymabob... If your parents want to help you you should plead that retail therapy is necessary. Seriously... you lose weight and you get to fit into some nice new clothes which makes you happy with the weightloss, rewarded for the effort and determined to lose more and keep it off. Tadaaaa! Genius. :P

Oh and btw. This is Triggster from Ongaku... I made an account just to post on this journal. Someone stole Triggster so I added a Spanish twist to it although thinking about it now, hmmm having the added "o" would insinuate that I am a male rather than a female. D:

aww thanks for the understanding <3

great minds think alike! i did that over christmas but didn't lose any weight so just had to buy bigger clothes. they've caught on now T_T

*squee* thank you so much! comments = love. i had a sneaking suspicion that it might be you, especially after the kpop comment ^_^ ah, i know nothing about spanish so it makes no difference to me XD 'lul' is apparently dick in dutch...so the title of this journal is 'everlasting dicks' i guess...although the plural of lul is probably lullen or something along those lines. if you ever get bored you should start a journal, they get addictive after a while. however lj is so full of jrock/kpop stuff that you may find yourself stuck here, unable to leave while the world moves on without you...;D

Uff, I completely understand, I was having the same rant to my friend just yesterday. Mine keep whinging about paying my uni accommodation and food for me, saying they aren't paying all this money for me to just sit around and I better work my arse off to get a good degree. Well, I didn't ask them for anything, they just said 'no you're not having the maintenance loan we're paying!' because of their irrational fear of any kind of debt. Well, they shouldn't make me take their money then complain what I do with it.

ugh, my dad kinda did that. when i asked if he would help with my accommodation (the loan wouldnt cover it at that uni) he was all 'no, i've been supporting you for long enough now.' and it was like WTF?! OF COURSE YOU HAD TO FECKING PAY IT'S CALLED RAISING A CHILD. DON't HAVE ONE IF YOU CAN'T MAKE THE COMMITMENT blargh. most annoying thing is he said that he would cover tuition if i went to st andrews but he can't even afford to help me out if i go to any other DX

Haha, exactly, they knew what they were committing themselves to when they decided to have kids. And then they act like they're doing you a massive favor when really, it's necessary if they don't want their children to end up rifling through bins. Or in jail. I'd love to be self sufficient, but unless the economic climate changes drastically I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. The only type of work I could fit it along side uni is waitressing or shop assistant work, and it's so difficult to get in to that at the moment because all the employers want relevant experience. How can I get relevant experience if they won't give me a job without it ( ... )

gah, i know what you mean about the experience. you have to work for free to get any experience D: I wound up picking london over standrews mostly for the job prospects. im hoping to get a job at a music venue somewhere. luckily the loan is HUGE for london, i know that i have to pay all of it back but i won't need to work if i don't want to.
eeh? damn...i didn't know about that. TBH, if it was still free, i could understand. they would be wasting their money if people didnt turn up. but now that we pay for it, its just stupid. if ive paid for it, i should be allowed to not use it.
