we have 4 grade 12 maths we have to get through

I'm doing the easiest one in the second half of next year. SO IT REALLY DOESN'T COUNT. In the US I think grade 12 is basically Calculus, and here I have to take 3 "grade 12" maths before Calculus.

My school is weird so I don't know if Calc is normally High School or college. It used to be college, at least.
At my school you normally take Trig/Pre-Calc in 12th but then you can sometimes take Algebra 1 in 8th and then you take Calc in 12th then there's also the people who take Algebra 2 and Geometry the same year so depending on if you skipped Pre-Alg you can take Calc 2 or Calc 1.

IB: International Baccalaureate program.

In my school it doesn't start til Grade 11 so that's why I didn't do it this year and I took AP stuff instead.

Yeah, my compulsories this year basically looked like that middle-year program. It should be okay, though? I just know that here we have to take 8 classes a year in grade 11 and 12, but they don't have to be two languages, one science, one humanities, etc.

I got called down again today to give my schedule a look. I'm fairly happy with it; here it is as it stands, chronologically descending:

Semester 1:

History 10
Science 10
Driver's Ed/Choral 10 (these classes are every second day so they switch off)
Wellness
Pre-AP English A10
Pre-AP Math 20

Semester 2:

Pre-AP Math A30
Pre-AP English B10
Biology 20
Lunch/Choral 20
French 10
(spare period)

Because not everyone is Canadian, Grade 10 classes are 10-level, Grade 11 is 20-level, and Grade 12 is 30-level. There are four Grade 12 maths -- A30, B30, C30, and Calculus. Since Art was supposed to be an elective, I ended up being one credit short, so I took up singing every second day instead.

B-but

In Canada, a class is only half a semester long. So you can technically take grade 9 and 10 in grade 9, 11 and the first of four grade 12 maths in grade 10.

There are three more to take after next year.

Hope everything works out with your timetable. Back in highschool, I signed up for grade 9 music but when I started school I found out I was pushed to grade 9 art due to many people applying for art. That school was famous for music.

It may be a bit early but you should look at some University and college brochure to see if any major looks interesting. One thing I despised at my highschool was that they only started to talk to you about uni/college during the last year of highschool. Quite a bit late to find out at that time that I needed biology 12 and chemistry 12 for environmental science. So I had to go with business instead >_>

Our school is famous for art, so fml.

Thank you for the advice! I've already decided that I want a medical degree, and the prerequisites at the uni I'm going to are your grade 12 maths and three grade 12 sciences (bio/chem/physics) along with two years in the art/science college. I like to know what I need to do before I dunk my head into it.
