I'm smoking too much, again. Also did another HP/SS pic. I was planning to try out cross-hatches coloring using tablet in this but it's a real pain to do a clean job with mine. So it came out as messy scribbly-scribbles.

Wow this is amazing. I love the action, the motion, it's a really great illustration with so much (angry)passion in Harry's face. It really captures the scene at the end of HPB, which also had me on the edge of my seat.

I hope there is going to be an occasion for him to get back to Snape. Preferably with none of the foolish wand-waving, but with bare fists. Because deep down, in the darkest corner of my little heart, I want Snape to get hurt, bad. Of course, so he can be patched up all over again afterward. I don't know if my being such a sucker for H/C is more telling of masochism of sadism.

I completely understand that sentiment. I have a real taste for hurt snape. So many little pieces to pick up.

Ohhh, yes. It's cliche but I can't help it, Snape being vulnerable just makes my toes tingle.

I like your Harry! He's so brutal, a red-faced proletarian who just wants to punch, punch, punch... And Snape is unfathomable, does he want to hit back or just hold Harry off?

"Red-faced proletarian" I definitively like that description of Harry! Thank you for coming up with it! And as for Snape, at first I wanted to draw him with his eyes closed, kind of letting the fight happen and only defending himself half-heatedly, but I've been drawing a lot of close-eyed Snape lately (dunno why) so I decided for a change. Still I couldn't let myself draw a really angry and hateful Snape, so I settled for a mild expression open for interpretation. I'm so pleased you spotted it!

I agree w/ everything that's been said - what really gets me is the way they look as I picture the characters, without looking like the film actors. It's really nice to see that in a work of fanart. Thanks for sharing the pic!
