Looking for any excuse
Week two of rehearsal has begun. We have pretty much the whole script, including the ending number a chant/rap about Native American tribes. Mikey still needs work on the tango number, but lines are mostly there for everyone. We just got the first week's performance schedule. I did not get The Miracle Worker or Enron.
I am very excited about Vinegar Tom. But of course, I want another EMC show under my belt to head towards union status. Also being paid.

In the still of the night
Tonight is opening night. I got half of my paycheck for the show this week. An official, typed up piece of paper that says, You Are A Professional Actor Now! I should deposit it. Tech Delirium
Today we had an 8 out of 10 tech, which means a ten hour day with two hours of dinner break. During said break I went to KOLT to audition for Vinegar Tom, where I ran into Liz Holzman. I don't care how drunk you are, or how angry you are that your friends made you foot the bill at dinner, tipping 2% is completely unacceptable. Seriously. Last night I got tipped $8 on a $323 bill. Plain old sickness
Well, it's not strep or mono, and it's too early for something more sinister. According to the doctor, it's just a regular old viral thingy. And it's been getting better day by day, so yay.
