so i was on my way home the other night, and as you can imagine i was focused on other things than driving. and i notice this fly cruising around about 3 inches above my dashboard. and because of our current subject in my physics class (having to do with vectors, velocity, and acceleration) i began to wonder about how fast the fly was actually

turner, the fly you were looking at wasn't even real, and if it was then it would travel along at the same speed and same place unless it moved itself. if you were in the international space station you wouldn't have to make your self move thousands of miles per hour just to move to the front, you just walk because the velocity of both objects cancel each other out. postage
