Rude People

I've encountered more downs than ups this week. I'm just glad my work week is over and I'm totally looking forward to the pool party this weekend.

Tuesday...Brian and I decide to take a walk Kensington Market, Chinatown and Queen St. West. He was on a mission to get a new pair of shoes. As luck would have it, every pair he fancied didn't come in ( Read more... )

So the other day I had this girl call me to bitch about how she almost got kicked and punched in the face, how this saleswoman was a bitch, and how some nurse told her off even though she was totally courteous. She yapped on and on while I was trying to take a dump. Then the same girl makes plans with me for Friday afternoon and text messages me to cancel the plans cuz her boyfriend decides to have her over for dinner. This, all despite the fact that I have a t-shirt to give her... I mean, where are your priorities! :P

Hope you enjoy your pool party. Remember, things usually go well, except when they don't... keep your head up Jules. :)

hopefully your bf will like the shoes and won't need to return them, but worst comes to worst you can try selling them on eBay. when i get customer service that bad, i spread the word, complain to management and never, EVER go back. that's my way of socking it to 'em :D

I know how you feel Julie...aren't MEDICINE patients so frikken hard to take care of (remember where I work? LOL)...[[sigh]]

Isn't it funny that when you're studying to be a nurse, you can't WAIT to be on your own, being independant...trying to have this positive outlook on the profession...

But then when you ACTUALLY start...you then begin to get caught up in all the politics?...

Welcome to the life of a nurse...

=P

Charlee!!! I didn't even know you were on LJ!!! =D

Man...No offence or anything, but those medicine doctors kept writing in orders up until the change of shift!!! I was literally in the report room, transscribing the new orders in the kardex...and this resident fully comes in at 7:15 pm and writes order while I'm giving report. =S

I don't mind the night shifts...but it's the day shifts that drive me crazy!!!!!!
