I'd love to see pics so we can see how far you've come!
No you don't. =P
Well, I wasn't THAT bad. I was kinda chubby as a kid and had really low self-esteem. It didn't help that I had mean boys in my class who kept teasing me about my weight. In a way, it kind of has been a long way for me. It took years to come to where I am now and quite frankly, I'm still not satisfied. I want to shed more weight but any skinnier, I'd have no breasts.
hahah you said "ratherings". almost as good as your dad's "cheap-kuh".
those dresses man. if you're wearing one of those, and someone calls you on your cell, but both your hands are tied up, do u think u can just lean your head to the side and place the phone on your shoulder to talk? if u did that, those shoulder pads would probably slice your head off!!! :O
on that cousin note...ed and i almost had a scare like that. well we did. my first cousin is married to his far far inlaw not even blood related cousin (but they call each other cousins) so when i heard that R (my cuz) was married to Y (his cuz) i almost had a heart attack! turns out its so far down the family tree, not even blood related but still... its creepy
This is why my friend, who's black, opted to never date black girls. He once ran into a situation where he met this one chick who turned out to be a long lost relative. It scarred him for life and he has stuck to Asian women since.
i love those two books. Murakami is an amazing writer. Have you read Sputnik Sweetheart. That is one of my favorite books of all time.
Timothy Findley is great too...that was probably the only book I enjoyed reading in high school.
i've always wanted one of those traditional filipino dresses...just to own one i guess..i don't know where i'd ever wear it. i've seen some pretty nice ones that aren't so sparkly. but some of them are just damn ugly. hahaha
I'll give Sputnik Sweetheart a try later down the road. I love Murakami's style. He knows how to keep his readers going.
I also read Findley's Not Wanted On the Voyage. It's a twist of Noah's Ark story. There were a couple of themes my teacher had to bring up that made the story easier to understand. If I were to read it on my own, I'd be lost. It was a great read nonetheless. I also got through parts of Pilgrim. It's a fictional story of the psychiatrist Carl Jung and his exploration into this strange fellow named "Pilgrim". It seemed to be a pretty good book, but I never had the chance to finish it....school work got in the way.
