Something that has been my bane and something that enrages me more than ANYTHING else in my life is cigarette smoking. I used to have a few smokes when i was like 14 but even that young i could tell it was a fucking joke. since you made this to 'everyone' (although pull from your life examples) i just wanted to say to this statement (and not as an attack on you) but obesity is right up there with smoking. so you may say the biggest greasiest burgers don't come close to smoking...you are wrong. eating greasy hamburgers and other fast food to the extent that america does it's extremely likely that they will become obese. having heart attacks, diabetes, and other health problems from obesity are as close to horrible painful deaths as throat/mouth/lung cancer.
i'm not defending smoking, believe me. i just think that is a pretty blanket statement.

I eat fast food maybe....twice a week. twice a week for a month is 28 dollars. and lets say each meal takes 7 minutes from my life, much like a cigarette does. that is 49 minutes ive lost. that isnt very healthy. but unlike smoking, i DONT HAVE to eat fast food/greasy food.
Now lets say the average smoker smokes 3 packs a week (most smoke much more). in a month thats about 14 packs which is about 42-45 dollars. with 20 cigarettes a pack and 7 minutes gone from each....youve lost 2660 minutes from your life. and thats only for 3 packs a week people. id say QUITE the fucking difference.
obesity is a problem for those trashballs that weigh 400 pounds and still eat like shit. smoking is a problem for everyone that involves themselves with them AND EVERYONE THAT IS AROUND THEM.
ps- quit smoking kristel.

"In 1999, 13% of children aged 6 to 11 years and 14% of adolescents aged 12 to 19 years in the United States were overweight. This prevalence has nearly tripled for adolescents in the past 2 decades."
obesity and overweight IS as much of a problem as smoking. it's been shown as being right up there with smoking. and your comment about the 'greasiest burgers' won't hurt or whatever was just not true.
