why do i day dream

so i was looking through my past entries and one of them was about the new year coming and i said something like 'lets see what this new year has to bring me' and as i read that i said to myself 'pft man this year sucks.' all bitter and jaded like. but that actually made me chuckle. it was funny to me because i'm sure i wrote that past entry with

yeah, we were DEFINITELY excited about the new year. its was weird. it's been an interesting one for sure, so far. dont worry, summer is coming, it will get better. youre gonna travel, no matter what that will makes things better. anticipation of a trip, getting ready to go, the trip itself, then being wicked cool and better than everyone cause you just got back from CHICAGO. and for the record, all the stuff that makes me happy right now, is not at ALL what i expected to have happen this year....
