Hmmm very strange there is a lot of gay young adult lit out there A TON I would almost go as far as to say there is more REAL gay lit for the young adult audience then the adult audience mostly because the lack of pornographic content forces an actual storyline but there are a lot out there. So it is strange these authors are meeting such resistance.

It does seem strange.. I wonder though if maybe they're submitting to the wrong publishers? Maybe the problem is that bc most of the characters are straight they are offering it to more straight-based houses? Idk like maybe there are specific publishers that deal with the gay young adult?
