Watched the top 20 performances on Idol tonight. I am officially in love with Lee. I loved him doing Coldplay last week but singing Hinder was just too fucking much for me okay. Really tho. Just.. wow. As far as I can see it, he's the one to beat. I know they're pushing a girl tho. On that end I say it's either Lily or more likely Siobhan bc very ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's true that a guy has won IDOL the past 2 years, but overall it's been 4 girls (Kelly, Fantasia, Carrie & Jordin) and 4 guys (Ruben, Taylor, Dave and Kris) so IMO it's dead even right now. I haven't been watching but I keep seeing favorable stuff about Lee and Siobhan (does she pronounce it shah-VAHN, which is the correct Irish pronunciation?).

Personally I couldn't care less whether a boy or girl wins. I think it should be free for all from day 1 not boys vs girls. I just want whoever is the most talented should be the one to win. It's so stupid to push boys vs girls & try to make it even when it goes all over once they hit top 12 anyway.

Lee is a like a great combo of Dave & Danny Gokey (with just a hint of Chris Daughtry at times). Siobhan is better than any of the girls except maybe Lilly. I'm still waiting to see how she goes. And yes I think she does pronounce shah-VAHN.
