Now that I have pictures, I would like to officially welcome Ava Anne Sanders, my niece, to the world! She was born on August 2nd after a grueling 28 hours of labor, but it was totally worth it because she's the most beautiful baby ever.

while walking into the corner store to get some cigarettes tonight, a well-dressed, flamboyantly gay, spanish man looked at me and said "hola, que guapo" while walking by.

roughly translated: "hey, handsome" or "hey, that's handsome".

it put a smile on my face.
